This is what happened when my friend placed an order for me in Swiggy. I was in Ashok Nagar in Bangalore, Karnataka. "Ashwini Enclave, Kammanahalli Main Road, Ramaiah Layout, kacharakanahalli , Bengaluru, Karnataka 560043, India. I was staying at my friend's home.

I am student and i live in PG in the other place of Bangalore. I came to be at my friends place and take care of few things which my friend wanted me to while she was away.

The order was placed on April 24 around 10 PM. It was an order for classic zinger of 452. Swiggy was not accepting GPay as it was not working at that time and so i had to ask my friend to place and order for me.

I did not even have cash which i regret a lot now. She was Also facing issues with GPay but she finally managed to place an order through some other way. The order was placed and I was waiting.

I got a call then by the delivery man. He said "Mam, the gate is closed." And it was indeed, the main gate was closed. I told him that I would come down and take the order. He told me the same thing that mam the gate is closed.

Then he said "Mam, coming coming." I think this is what I heard. I could hear him talking to someone so i thought maybe he was able to enter in. I waited as I had instructed him the room number.

It was more than 5 minutes, i still waited. When it took long i thought of calling back. Then i realised i could not make a call back. I was so annoyed, i went down and i saw no one. The delivery man was gone.

I then tried to call various help center. In the morning i even called the restaurant. After few days i realised that i could chat in the swiggy app. They directed me to send an email but Swiggy replied me saying they couldn't do anything.

I am a new user to Swiggy. I did not know how it works so i had no idea about complaining even. I lost 452 and i Just need my refund. I don't want to order anymore. I got scammed.
