Swiggy: Delayed Food Deliver With Cold Food Delivered

We were hungry and had guests at home. We had ordered food from swiggy. The order was placed on 9th Jan 1033pm as per swiggy system. The order was picked up by the delivery partner from the restaurant in 45 mins i.e @ 1118pm as per swiggy.

The restaurant is at a distance at 7-10mins from residence. When inquired with delivery person, he kept making excuses. Finally reached at 1204 (1 hour 31minutes) whilst I was on call with Swiggy personal complaining about delayed delivery.

The food that he bought had turned cold. I refused to accept delivery. Placed order with restaurant directly. When left to pick up the delivery boy was still waiting down at the gate of the building. I felt threatened to see him there.

I finally picked up food from the restaurant and came back. The delivery boy was still standing down and didn't leave. While I was talking to the escalation desk, the driver spoke inappropriately in a threatening manner.
