Shiprocket: Fraud and Theft While Delivering A Courier

I raised a courier request through Shiprocket platform for my customer on 18th August 2021 which was picked up on 28th August 2021. It was a big packet containing 6 items worth Rs 2000 and when it was delivered to customer, it was a small packet having one item only.

At that time my customer was out of town so packet was received by other family members who were not aware of quantity and other details, when my customer came back on 4th September.

She checked the packet and reported about missing items, and I reported the same to customer care team, but they said that it's too late now and the issue should be reported within 48 hours and they can't take any action now.

After many calls and request to investigate this, they took all the proofs and within two days they closed the case mentioning that as per courier SOP, the reporting time is exceeded.

I claimed that I have CCTV footage as well but they are not bothered that a theft case happened here and the culprit should not be avoided like this. It's a clear crime and case of fraud.

Requesting you to look into this matter at the earliest so that they should not get away with a crime like this.
