I got a call on 23/09/2023 from a person saying he is an employee from Shine.com and told me I got shortlisted for a job at Cipla company. He told me about the various posts available in Cipla and I chose the post for "Pharmacovigilence". As the talk proceeded forward the employee started to talk about about the payment I had to make for the interview with the HR of the cipla company and I had to pay an amount of Rs 2500 within 10 minutes. He said I will get a mail and the code for the interview id.

I was really doubtful but still I went ahead and paid the said 2500 rupees. I got a mail which gave me my interview id and also a mail where there were certain questions and answers related to Pharmacovigilence. After that I got a call from another number who was the said HR and he took the interview through voice call. I thought it was legit until in the end he told me that if I got selected I would again have to pay Rs. 8500 for the training. He said he would call me after talking to the other members.

Then after sometime I got a mail saying I got selected for the post. At the same time the person who had called me before called me again and said I got selected, and if I wanted to proceed further I would have to pay 8500 for the training. I said i needed some time to think and didn't receive any calls or reply to any texts to that number or any other number. They were calling me continuously.

So in the starting the person had said that if I didn't get selected I would get the 2500 back but if I got selected then the money would be refunded along with the first month's salary. When I asked for my 2500 money to be refunded they said that it can't be refunded since I already got selected and would only get in first month's salary but if I would pay them Rs. 1450 for the cancellation mail then both Rs 2500 and Rs 1450 would be returned altogether.

I was very disheartened to hear that because they took advantage of my desperation for a job and scammed me of the few money I had with me. I would be really grateful if you could help me get my money back from those scammers who took advantage of my desperate need for a job. I will be hopeful that my case will be resolved and I will get my money back. Please help me.
