I'm Supriya here and I made a booking for 4 passengers for the month of August, date 24th. Flight was scheduled from Mumbai to Kannur, 12.05 am departure. While trying to initiate a date change in the booking the app notified me that my flight was canceled by the Airline itself and that it was not operational.
And asked me if I wanted to request a refund since the airline cancelled the flight. So I did that, I initiated a refund because the flight was cancelled by the Airline. Immediately after, I spoke to Goair and they told me that the flight was not cancelled and when I spoke to Go ibibo customer service agent.
He told me that this was an error by the app and an exceptional case and there would be a solution once the message reached the Airline for verification whether the flight was operational or not. Today I received a message from Goibibo that a refund was initiated of the amount of Rs. 1344 for the total amount that i paid for the booking was Rs. 9588.
This whole problem was created because the Goibibo app has a glitch because of which it told me that my flight stood canceled by the airlines. And now when i'm trying to connect with an agent, it gives me an automated message about the refund initiated and cuts my call.
I have paid a hefty amount of over Rs 9500 for the tickets and I'm getting a convenient refund of Rs 1344 for an error by your app and this is unacceptable and I will not let this matter rest until I have been given a justified solution. This is downright the worst experience.
I have had with any booking for travel and the most unprofessional behavior has been exhibited by the customer service. In Spite of calling customer care and sending mails not received a single response from GOIBIBO side. Copy of the refund mails sent by Airlines to Goibibo are as follows:

If paid via credit card, the same shall be credited to your credit card account.
If paid via travel websites/ travel agent, the same shall be refunded to the travel agent who will process it to you, request you to please contact them directly. In case of cash transactions, kindly send your NEFT details. This is with regards to your reservation with Go First of PNR Q7YRQP.

In case of cash transactions, kindly send your NEFT details. I expect you to look into the matter immediately and help us to get the refund at the earliest.
