Airtel Broadband: Bill Dispute

I had airtel broadband connection (0[Protected]) in my previous house ( sector 19 D Chandigarh) , when i moved to my new place (sector 40 A Chandigarh) in December 2020 i called customer care in first week of December to disconnect my airtel broadband connection (0[Protected]).

Customer care guys assured me that they will discontinue the connection but they never sent me any complaint request number and i was also unaware about it. Also i asked them to check the call records when i told them to discontinue the connection but they refused that they didn’t have any call recordings.

And because of the company’s mistake, In January 2021 i got the broadband bill for around rs. 800 and I didn’t even had that connection in my new place. And despite of calling them over and over requesting for disconnection they generated this bill.

Again i went to the airtel store I requested them to discontinue the connection, they said they can’t do it, kindly talk to the customer care. I again called them to disconnect the connection and they said i had to pay the due amount for the broadband which I didn’t even use because I didn’t have connection at my new place.

In the end i paid that due amount and this time they generated request no. [Protected]for disconnection. They said issue will be resolved within 4 to 5 working days. This request number was generated on 14th of January 2022.

Now again on 19th January 2022 they again sent me a new bill of rs 1068.67. I am not supposed to pay this bill because I haven’t had a broadband connection since 1st December 2021.

Despite of having no broadband connection i paid the previous due amount. And i have been calling them over and over for disconnection and they falsely reassure me to discontinue the connection and i have told them a number of times i do not want the connection.

And again they have generated a new bill. This is very frustrating because they are harassing me for no reason. They are wasting my time from one and a half month. They are irresponsible, uncooperative and unprofessional.

This is so frustrating because airtel people are harassing me from last two months. I request you to look into this matter as soon as possible.
