Dear Whirlpool Customer Service,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing incident that occurred during my recent interaction with your customer service team. I believe I have been a victim of fraud, and I am seeking your urgent assistance in resolving this matter.

On 23rd July, I raised a service ticket with your customer service regarding a malfunction in my refrigerator. Your authorized service personnel visited my premises, inspected the refrigerator, and provided an initial estimate of Rs. 4200 for the repairs. They requested an advance payment of Rs. 2000, assuring me that the issue would be fixed promptly once the payment was made. Trusting your brand's reputation, I transferred the money without hesitation.

To my dismay, no one showed up to carry out the repairs despite multiple attempts to contact the assigned service personnel. In an attempt to rectify the situation, I reached out to your customer care on 26th July and learned that my previous request had been mysteriously closed and replaced with a new one. However, despite my pleas to escalate the matter, no action was taken, leaving me in a state of frustration and disappointment.

Eventually, I managed to get in touch with your area manager after persistent efforts. He agreed to send another technician, who arrived the following day. This technician identified the issues as a gas leak and a damaged pipe, providing a revised quote of Rs. 2900 (Rs. 2200 + Rs. 750). This amount was significantly lower than the initial estimate, which raised suspicions.

Upon completion of the repairs, the service personnel demanded the full payment of Rs. 2900 and threatened to unload the gas if I did not comply. I requested a legal bill before making any payment, to which the technician replied that the bill would be issued only after receiving the payment.

As a responsible consumer, I cannot proceed with a payment that lacks transparency and legality. It is evident that I have been deceived and taken advantage of in this situation. I have yet to pay the final amount, as I believe in resolving matters in an ethical and fair manner.

I am deeply disappointed with the conduct of your service personnel and the lack of accountability demonstrated by your customer service team in handling this matter promptly. I kindly request that you take immediate legal action against those responsible for this fraud and ensure that I am not held liable for any unauthorized charges.

I urge you to investigate this issue thoroughly and provide me with a satisfactory resolution as soon as possible. I trust that Whirlpool values its customers and will take this matter seriously to restore my faith in your brand.
