I initiated an online purchase from whirlpool online store to buy a fridge. The portal said it was available and guided me to make the payments. I paid through UPI and they deducted 12,490 from my account.
Then the online portal said they cannot deliver at my address. I called their customer care number [Protected]and told my complaint. They promised they will sort it.
I asked them to give me a ticket number but after they heard the complaint, they kept insisting that they will make me talk to some seniors and sort out the matter. Twice I spoke with two seniors who promised that I will get the money back.
But after waiting for 10 days, I escalated the matter. They had given an email id [PROTECTED]@whirlpool.com and I explained my plight on mail and requested the money to be deposited back in my account.
But no response on the email. I again called and I spoke to another senior member and she gave me a her email id [PROTECTED]@whirlpool.com - I sent all the proofs and explained the same story on mail.
No response. Then I found another email id on their website [PROTECTED]@whirlpool.com - and I again explained the whole thing to them. No response. They simply are not interested and it is humiliating to run from one place to other, call, email and get harassed because I did a mistake of choosing to pay whirlpool out of trust.
Its been 17 days since the incident and I am still waiting to hear back. I keep sending reminders but no response anyway from any of them. Even their ceo email id is fraud.
