Sir/madam, As per SEBI, STT for ETF is 0.001% for delivery sell and 0.025% for intraday sell. for buying no STT. But so many brokers are charging 0.1% for buy and sell in delivery mode. With 0.1% for both buy and sell and GST it is better to avoid trading in etf. Including GST etc it will be around 0.26% for 1 round trip (buy & sell.
profit % in etf is very low in short term. Many brokers r charging even without fear in broad daylight. What is SEBI, NSE, BSE doing. I wrote to NSE to ignsense.co.in via email. Still no response. What a fraud.
I hope u raise the concern on behalf of retail investors. Pls respond by writing to SEBI etc. Pls gather contract notes of some brokers as proof. ex: alice blue, grow etc charge like this. you may observe STT in some known person's contract notes.
