Samsung Electronics: Delivered Defective Refrigerator

Complaint Details: I purchased a 415 litre double door twin cooling refrigerator worth rs 39000, on date 10 January 2021, the refrigerator worked ok till April 2021 after that my refrigerator started to gave some problems.

Firstly, door of the refrigerator opens very tightly which leads to the fall of the products like water bottles on the floor after this i complaint in Vijaya sale Swasthiya vihar where they told me to call samsung customer service helpline no then.

I complaint in samsung customer service helpline,an engineer came to check the refrigerator but no solution has been provided by him, after some days water droplet were seen on the wall, floor (fiber partition) and basket region in the refrigerator.

Then i again complaint at the same helpline no. another engineer from samsung, visited to check refrigerator he said the problem is due to a piece of foam which stuck in the cooling pipe so just turn off the refrigerator for 24 hours and i do the same but problem not solve.

I complaint again, they asked for senior engineer visit so first i refused because of covid, but they said this will be the final visit if the problem persist they will replace the refrigerator, an senior engineer visited my home.

And checked refrigerator he put talcum powder on the refrigerator door and asked me to remove all the poly bag from the refrigerator and, then he asked me to evaluate for 15 days and i do the same.

But the problem still not solved, in the mean time they keep on pressuring me to sign a complaint closing document, which i refused because problem not solve. After that i continuously complaint on Samsung helpline no.

Every time they listen my complaint and asked for 1 last visit and the engineer do nothing but force me to sign complaint closing documents, later they start saying that their is no problem in the refrigerator and stop taking my calls even i have proof they have nothing to say about it.

Later when i call them again i get to know that they closed my complaint by themselves. Please take all the necessary action and asked them to replace the defective product (refrigerator). Thanks Santosh gupta Mobile no. [Protected].
