Today I placed an ad on OLX for sale of washing machine. Ravi kumar (fake name) is an individual whose number is [Protected]approached me within 5 minutes on OLX for buying washing machine.

He sent me QR code twice and asked me to scan so that the money will be credited into my account through Paytm. First he asked me to do a small transaction of rs 2 from my account.

I did that on his request then he sent me a QR code for rs 3500 and asked me to scan that as a process of receiving payment, I was hesitant to scan but after some time on his continuous appeal when I scanned that code, money got debited twice from my account.

I told him to revert back my money. he again sent me the QR code for rs 19000 but this time I refused him to do that and continuously asked him to revert my money back or else send his location but he totally refused to did that and cut the phone

Now I got to know that this was definitely a case of fraud. OLX need to strictly take up this matter and block his number as soon as possible.
