My father had booked Ola S1 Pro on 28th May, 2023 (Order ID: 0523-FNC973) with a down payment of Rs. 45,000 and took a vehicle loan for 1,03,999. Later on they withdrew the subsidy and started asking for Rs. 15000 more so we cancelled the order on 2nd June, 2023. On various rounds of talks with the outlet manager where we booked the vehicle, we could manage to get back the Rs. 45,000 (down payment) but the loan was disbursed and we sent various emails to the Ola Customer Care email but got no material response in return just automated messages to wait for 7-10 days for refund.
My father is old and has been going through so much of stress because of this company, the bank which provided the loan hasn't got the money back and after a month of cancellation - my dad's account was debited for the EMI amount for a vehicle which we don't have in possession in first place. How unethical is this for a company?
There is no proper customer support and resolve mechanism, he has been visiting the company outlet to help him return the money to the bank. This is completely not acceptable and unprofessional for a company towards its customers.
