I had an old mobile no. which was changed some yrs ago. The new mobile no. is [Protected]. Since then I have not used IRCTC nor could I use the services because of the change of mobile no. The OTPs sent went to the old phone.
I had complained and requested that my mob. no be changed in my profile but I was informed that I could not register the new no. as it was already registered in another name. I pleaded and submitted proof of ownership of the new no. but did not hear from IRCTC again. I had been to Vodafone who gave me the necessary proof of me being the owner of the new no. which I submitted to ITCTC.
I am a Sr. Citizen and have been denied use of the IRCTC services because of the default of the previous of my mob. no. [Protected].
Please look into this matter. if anyone has to be penalised, it is the previous owner of [Protected]as he has been at fault for not fulfilling his responsibility.
IRCTC may please look into this and rectify it ASAP.
