I have travelled with family having 2 kids (3yrs and 10 yrs) in the train 02987 / SMVB DBRG SPL on 23rd Sept 2022 having pnr : [Protected]. The train was delayed nearly 6-7 hrs. Probably you could not feel the pain. we felt the pain with having small kid sitting in the station without any ac room / hygienic room. My concern is, if train was running late that much time there should be process to treat customers like giving food, juice etc.
Instead of that when we raised complain on irctc customer care, they just closed with no reasons. Because of delay, I lost connecting train (20824 / AII PURI SF EXP, pnr: [Protected]), like train ticket charge, all planned activity where I loose money on hotel booking to stay in the night. So this should not happen.
