My daughter vacated the hostel two months back and they are not refunding the security deposit.Everyday they give new excuses for not refunding.They seem total fraud Now we will wait few days and file a police complain....

I was living in CoHo 288 Sector 28 Gurugram since 9th Oct-22 but in Feb -23 CoHo asked us vacate the property as they going to close their operations for the property and vacating it in Feb -23 and they mailed us that Security Deposit refund will be released soon.

But 2 month has been passed and several times I have mail them but they are not responding and not refunding my security deposit amount which is 10,000/- ....

I stayed in Coho Gurugram in Sector 28 from 16 July to 15 September, 2022. After vacating the property, I was told that I will get my security money back within 30 days of vacating the property but it is been more than 30 days now and I have not received the money.

I keep on calling their customer care and there is no response. Also, they are not replying my mails also. The security money is around 10,000 and it is not a small amount....

Coho is a co living space company which gives room on rents to stay like a pg. I lived there for 2 months so before the let you live they ask for a security deposit of the same amount of the rooms rent which was Rs. 14000.

And they are suppose to return that money with in one month of moving out from there room. Now its been 2 months I haven’t received my money back and now nobody from that company is picking up my calls, not replying to my messages.

And they are not even replying to my emails which i sent on there official email address. When i was late to pay rent they applied a late fee of Rs.500 for per day and if i was 2 days late to pay my rent i had to give Rs.1000 extra.

And now when they are late they should also pay me extra because now i had to take a loan to pay for my room where i am living now instead they are not giving the money back which is mine left alone the idea of paying extra.

Please help me get my money back because now i am also paying extra for the loan i had to take to pay my rent....

Coho is a company which provides apartment for accommodation on rental basis. I had hired a room on sharing basis in Gurgaon and have paid one month rent as security in advance. I have vacated the room on 28Feb21. As per coho they were supposed to return my security amount in 3 weeks.

Till today I am just getting their emails just to buy time. They are not returning my amount. Please help me as they are shamelessly holding money of many Tenent’s like me by giving reasons of COVID. . . . ...
