I made the bookingJPSN7TTGU with zoomcar, firstly they changed the car just 10 mins before the pick up time. Then when I got the car, the car broke down just after 15 kms. I was in middle of the highway, waiting for the assistance, but each time I called them, they said please wait for 15 mins, concerned team will get back to you. I kept waiting for around 2 hours there, called around 5-7 times but still the same answer by each of the customer care executive.
Then almost after 2.5 hours, I got the call and the person said that we cannot provide you any alternative, you will have to manage on your own and moreover, do not leave the car there till the towing service comes. I somehow managed to get away from there. They towed the car later that day, the servicing people kept calling me as if I was the owner of the car, they had no clue to whom to connect from zoomcar people.
Then, moreover, for the refund of Rs. 3680, I haven't heard anything from them as of now, the trip was still ongoing in my app because the assistance team asked me not to end the trip else the refund won't be provided. Anyhow, there has been no assistance or no news from them till now. I would request for a refund of what I paid and a compensation of not providing any alternative in case of breakdown.
Thankfully I had just traveled 20 kms and I was still nearby some options, what if the same would have happened in the middle of a jungle.
