I had taken a trip yesterday with uber due to emergency. I don't use uber generally but when I faced technical difficulty with ola yesterday I had to resort to uber. When I booked cab it had shown me the amount of 400.1 but during the time of payment, total amount came out to be 778.
I at that time didn't do anything because of emergency situation. When later on I checked the breakdown they had added on the fare of 377.1 from year 2017 which I had already paid in cash.
When I complained to uber they are saying that they cannot help me out as it dates back to 2017 but I informed them that double payment was made yesterday. They are refusing to resolve this.
Imagine if I hadn't paid that amount in 2017 wouldn't the driver will complain, if then how do I still have 5 star review and also would he let me go without payment? Uber is trying to swindle at the time of COVID when there is already money constraints.
They didn't even mention this unsettled charges at the time of booking. It is so cruel and unfair.
