Tamilnadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC), Anna nagar Elite shop charged more than printed MRP of liquors. On every bottle they are taking ₹ 20-30/- more. I bought 3 whiskeys namely 1 no. VAT 69 750 ml, 1 no. Royal Challenge 750 ml, 1 no. Black & White 750 ml.
Actual price should be ₹ (1850+1750+960) = ₹ 4540/-. But they charged me for ₹ 4650/-. Which is ₹ 80/- more than printed MRP. This is the practice of that liquor shop. They gave hand-written receipt which is even wrong in total also.
They were saying that this is the rules of Tamilnadu. Please interfere into this matter. Not only this store, maximum outlets of TASMAC liquor shops and bars are charging more than printed MRP.
Even they are not providing any receipts, being a Govt. body also, and charges more. When I asked for receipts they less the amount which is still ₹ 80/- more than MRP in total.
Now, just think, how much they are charging from public. Is there any remedy for this? Or the concerned state is allowing this practice? I request to take hard action against these practices and make arrangement of compensation, if possible.
Thank you in advance.
