Hello, My name is Xavier Anthony Rodrigues.
I had a business named 'Velankanni Cold Stores'. I was using Paytm Soundbox until July 2022 when my Business was shut down. In February 2023 I got a transaction of Rs. 1300 on Paytm for Business and Rs. 800 was instantly deducted as charges against my Soundbox. I then contacted the Paytm Customer Care and spoke to the agent.
I told him that my business has been shut down for almost 8 months and yet the charges for Soundbox got deducted to which he replied that my Soundbox was still active. I said to him that I need to deactivate my Soundbox and he agreed to it. Since I have lost my Soundbox he said that i wouldn't get any refund from Rs. 800 that has been deducted.
Now few days back someone did a transaction of Rs. 2400 on my Paytm for business number and Rs. 198 has been deducted for Soundbox. When my Soundbox is already deactivated in February 2023, why is my rental still deducting? I tried contacting the customer care service and even Emailed them, but no action has been taken yet.
