I went to Meghavi Wellness spa at RG Royal hotel at Yeshwantpur, with an appointment at 4.15 pm on Friday, 20th October 2023. I had booked a 90 minutes massage on phone. The spa therapist removed my gold chain and pendant at the time of service, despite asking her not to remove it. She then told me she had placed it on the table. I forgot to collect it while leaving at about 6.10 pm, since I was in a hurry. When i called the front desk the next morning at 10.30 am, to request them to give it back, they said that they didn't find it. They checked with the therapist and housekeeping. They then accused me that I was making stories. They told me it was my fault. I have recording of the customer care calls from them as evidence. I am really upset about this.
They inquired with the spa therapist and the house keeping. But they acted innocent. Im a respectable doctor and have my own private practice www.r3clinic.in. The customer care representative connected me on call with the therapist and housekeeping on Sunday 22nd October 2023 at 12.15 pm. I requested them (therapist and housekeeping) to return my jewelry back since it's very expensive. Despite repeated requests, they didn't care. The customer care representative ultimately started making lame excuses, such as you should have called in the night, you should have been careful, you are making stories, you are giving different versions each time, our staff is innocent, etc. They asked me to go ahead and file a police complaint. I have all recordings of my conversation with them. This has caused immense distrust and disappointment in me. I have not been able to sleep peacefully too.
The spa therapist should not have removed my jewelry when i had not consented. However it may be the therapist or house keeping who stole my jewelry. The owner must take responsibility for recovering my jewelry from them and returning it to me, instead of abusing and accusing a loyal customer like me.Please help since I am terribly disturbed!
