In OLX I have seen advertisement regarding iphone 6s in Rs. 6999/- in the name of Chanchal Sharma. I have contacted him through whatsapp regarding the mobile. He asked me to deposit Rs. 999/- for booking and said that you will receive delivery details within 10 minutes.
He said you will be delivered mobile in two days. I have paid Rs. 999/- (Payment details attached) in Bank Name - State Bank of India (SBI), Account No – [Protected], IFSC code - SBIN0008378.
I was waiting for delivery order. On 20.01.2022, When I remind them regarding delivery order on whatsapp, I have received call from mobile number [Protected]and he was asked me to deposit Rs. 5500/- (Payment details attached) in Bank Name - State Bank of India ( SBI), Account No – [Protected], IFSC code - SBIN0008378.
After depositing 5500/- he sent me a invoice of Rs. 11500/- (Details attached). I was again asked to deposit Rs. 5000/- for insurance (Payment details attached) in Bank Name - State Bank of India (SBI), Account No – [Protected], IFSC code - SBIN0008378.
I have deposited the same. He told me that you will get refund of Rs. 3000/- during the delivery of product at your home. After some time I have received call again from mobile number [Protected]and again I was asked to pay Rs. 11500/-.
I was asked why the he said that as per the company policy you have to pay full amount of Rs. 11500/-. I asked him about my payment of Rs. 11500/- He said that once you paid Rs. 11500/- within 10 minutes you will get Rs. 14500/- returned in your account online.
He also said that If you will not pay such amount of Rs. 11500/-, we will not deliver you this order. I asked him to cancel my order and refund my money. After that he cancel order and said that he will not return my money any way.
I have the payment details, invoice provided by him. Order confirmation details, insurance charge receipt, and the conversation details done with them on whatsapp. I kindly request you to do the needful so I can get my money refund soon.

Same thing happened to me. I got an advertisement about a product of 22k. They told me to pay 999/- for booking. They next day they told me to pay 16k and i have to pay 5k in cash. They sent me invoice. Again they said i have to pay 5k online cause my area is shortlisted. They sent me company id cards and everything to satisfy my enquries. Then the next day they asked to pay 5k for insurance just to keep it in record and will refund in 2-3 mins on call! The next day they sent a new invoice with gst saying i have to pay 2662 gst. I paid twice cause of UPI issues so in total they were supposed to refund 10,324 rs. This insurance guy rajneesh kumar called and said they are having difficulty in refunding and i have to pay again 10,324rs inorder to pay full as those previous transactions were paid on different area like paytm, gpay etc. I never got the product nor the money. They are a complete fraud and i feel helpless but they will get what they deserve. I'm just gonna look up to God.
Reply Same thing happened to me. I was made to deposit 999/- for order and was asked to pay 16k as i was ordering a product of 22,000. I paid in full 22,000. After which the next day they called and told me to pay 5000 for insurance just to keep it on record and company's policy and will refund in 2-3 mins. They let me wait for 24 hours and didn't pay. And the next day they sent and invoice saying that i again have to pay 2662 for gst and without that they cannot deliver the product. I paid gst 2 times because of UPI problems. They were supposed to refund me 10,323rs. Everytime was okay but when the time came for the product to get delivered at my house. They called me and said they cant refund because i have used different payment methods like paytm, phone pe and gpay and they are having problem and its company policy to refund in full 10,324 rs. And told me to pay again 10,324 rs so that they can refund immediately! And they will refund 20,600 something immediately!
