Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this to highlight the severe harassment subjected to my father on 16th May 2022. He was on route to Trivandrum via Chandigarh for the National Games. He was allowed to carry a badminton racket on Chandigarh Airport.

After landing at Chennai Airport, he was asked to leave his racket or drop it on the counter. Security personnel treated him badly and did not offer any help. He was forced to miss his connecting flight.

He was made to run all over the Chennai Airport. A thorough gentleman of 72 Years was victimized by Indigo and security at Chennai Airport. He had to spend 8 hours on the airport and paid extra to book the flight.

I need answers to these questions:-
1. Why did Chandigarh airport security allow him to carry a racket if those rules were not applicable at the Chennai Airport and that too on a connecting flight?
2. Why was no help offered to a senior citizen?

I need immediate addressal to this grievance or I will take this matter to a higher ground and make sure this reaches the masses.I will be forming a page on social media and will not rest till I get justice.

I want a reimbursement of the amount paid by my father due to the sheer negligence of Indigo and staff of Chennai Airport. PFA file of the flight details
