I got a WhatsApp message today (09-Dec-2021) from this number (+[Protected]) stating the below content. I was not sure why did i get this message at the first place as i have not taken any loan from this lender.

Then when i tried to call the above number it was not reachable then i send a message to the same number stating that i have not taken this loan and if i keep getting this message then i will file a police complaint.

[Cashgo] We remind you that your loan is due today and you mush pay off the loan today.Otherwise, we will notify you of all contacts in the address book. Remind you that keeping a good repayment record will help the system evaluate you.

The amount of borrowing again will increase.

Then today again I got a WhatsApp message (15-Dec-2021) from this number (+[Protected]) stating the below content. The lawyer, Mr. Ashok Narwat, has been appointed to file an authorization/non-performance complaint case against you in Gurgaon, Haryana.

This may result in two years’ imprisonment or double fines or both because you fail to clear your dues. Cashgo loan for settlement/payment or visit the nearest Airtel store to pay in cash.Pay online through the [Cashgo] app: https://bit.ly/3l6lT13

I have not taken any loan through the above mentioned lender. I tried to access the link provided in the message and it asked me to key in the mobile number and a OTP is auto populating in to the application (not even coming to my messages as SMS)

Then when i login it says that i have to pay Rs 8340 /- and the number of days Over due is 6 days. I am very much sure that i have not taken any such loan and this is very much a harassment.

I tried to call the number which send the WhatsApp message but that number is always not reachable. I want to get rid of the issue. I request some one to please action on the same and provide a solution at the earliest.
