I had deposited an HDFC Bank cheque bearing cheque number 000119 of Rs. 2903/- in my Savings Account number [Protected]in onside cheque drop box on November 12, 2021 i.e. on Friday.
Since all banks are driving Go Green and accepting the outward cheques with details of beneficiary mentioned on back side of deposited cheque. Since RBI had introduced CTS clearing where physical cheques will remain with drawer’s bank, hence deposit slips are not required to be filled because the details beneficiary details are with same bank branch.
Then too I was aware that BOB will not process my cheque if deposit slip in not filled, I tried to get the deposit slip, but onside ATM was not being maintained by branch. To prove that I clicked the pics of services offered by Bank Branch.
Please find the pics attached of Cheque Drop Box and Deposit Slip Desk where new Slips needs to be kept. Today I went to check the status of my cheque, I spoke to lady sitting on counter number 02, I given each n every details to her.
She diverted to me on last counter, where the executive was sitting without any systems, he again asked me whole details of my account and deposited cheque.
See how your officials make customer irate.
Official who was sitting on last counter without any systems had taken all my details he again diverted to another counter. Now I been third time diverted to know the status of deposited cheque.
When I ask the third official (lady) that this is way you handle the customer query, for single cheque I have been diverted to third official, listening this, the official sitting on last counter who had attended me was become angry on me.
And came to hit me, seen this, all other Bank Branch officials along with Security guard whose duty is outside the branch came to hit me. All bank staff abuse me in front of other clients which was very very insulted.
I request you to ask branch officials to save the CCTV footage of today, so that branch officials should not come back with reason that CCTV DVR doesn’t have the recordings of previous days.
