Hi Sir,
I had recharged my mobile which was inactive for more than 6 months. I used Airtel thanks app and Airtel money to recharge my mobile with ₹99 on 30th March. The money was deducted from Airtel Money and recharge was not happened.
Immediately I called TFN 400 to check the transaction status. The agent said the recharge was success from their end and asked me to check with TFN 121 customer care.
Then I called the 121 care, the agent said the transaction was not showing on my number and recharge was not happened and asked to check with 400 TFN only.
Then I called TFN 400, this time agent said that he was taking a complaint and shared complaint I'd: [Protected]. He said to wait for 48 hours. After 2 days I called the 400 again then he said that the transaction was success and recharge not happened so please send a mail to [PROTECTED]@in.airtel.com.
I tried to send a mail using my mail id. It auto replied saying this mail is not registered with my mobile number and contact 121 to know your registered mail id.
Then I called 121 TFN again to know my mail-id. The agent said there was no mail-id registered with my number. Then I asked him to update my mail-id on April 6th. He took the request and said it will update in 24 hours.
Then I checked sending mail again it still failed saying same reason. Then I called 121 to check the mail-id updated. They said as my number is not recharged, they are not able to update my mail-id. Asked me to recharge my number.
Here, the problem started with recharging my Airtel number using Airtel thanks app with Airtel money. Now they are asking to recharge my number again to update my mail-id. It become a looping process.
Both 121 and 400 call centers not able to fix my issue. I even written to [PROTECTED]@airtelbank.com. they also saying the recharge showing as success but in my Airtel sim the recharge is not done.
