Booked self drive rental car (Tata safari storm) from zoom car on 15th April booking id JPSN709XH. The delivery time was 11PM on 16th April and drop off time was 10 PM on 18th April.
On the day of delivery I checked the app that shows car is not available, I called the customer care they informed me they will arrange another car, so they arranged 2nd car (Mahindra scorpio).
Just before 1 hour before delivery their delivery executive called me said car is not available, 1 called the zoom car customer care many time they keep on saying they are trying to arrange the car.
They arranged and alternate innova at 12 AM on 17th and promised to deliver. I waited till 12:20 AM for car delivery but their executive called me told me driver is not available to deliver the car.
So asked me to come to the deliver location which was 50 kms away from my location so didn't received the car. After so many failed attempts I canceled the booking, and my entire plan got cancelled due to wrong commitments from zoom car.
Complaint
1. Showing the listing of the cars which are not available.
2. Changing the car at last moment, then what is the point of selecting a car by customer.
3. Kept on doing wrong commitments that they will arrange a car but never deliver.
My entire advance bookings of the hotel was cancelled die to their ignorance at last I've to book another car at premium price from another vendor and my travel plans also suffered because my trip started 1 day late.
I want double refund of the amount they charged me and didn't deliver. I need interest on my money that they kept without delivering services and I want compensation for all the mental trauma I went through because of their last moment cancellation.
