I was doing Google search for a slow cooker. I got product from this website for a sale value of Rs. 689 only. This looked like a bargain price and i placed the order. My order was for MST-900VXD 8.5-Quart Stainless Steel Programmable Slow Cooker for Rs 689.

When I selected option for COD, I was asked for my Paytm Details. I do not have Paytm. I used credit card option and paid with credit card. I got a message from credit card-as follows "Rs. 689.00 spent on card 0570 on 12-MAY-22 at PAYTM".

Because the merchant name is not in SMS I was doubtful about this website. I did not get order confirmation from the website. Later I realised there was a mistake in the delivery address I had given.

Since there was no order confirmation. I could not change the address. There was option to create an account for new customers. I created one with the correct address. Still i was doubtful.

So i tried calling Customer care number provided. But the number is not in service. I sent email to confirm the correct delivery address.There is no reply to my email. I see there are many companies against this website.

Is this a fraudulent website. If so how is it being allowed to be online. How can people identity these fraud sites and prevent being cheated. How can I recover my money now? Is there anyone who can help?
