I had sent my saree for dry cleaning at tumble dry cleaners in Chennai annagar (diamond associates). Picked by staff Samir. I showed him the pre checking and inspecting my saree then only I hand over the saree to him in good condition.
So it’s dry cleaned and fresh to drape for next occasions. But unfortunately my unfortunate as a customer I am facing it was about to returned to me in 4-5 days. During the process they have damaged my heavy sarees and it has colour betted all over, shrinkage in fabric.
They have already charged me for the dry cleaning service before the service was completed. Initially I was informed that they are trying to get the sarees reprocessing and I agreed to the same.
But they are damaged my heavy saree with the amount of damage done. I am not sure if it can be repaired hence a reimbursement is needed. My heavy sarees is all about worth ₹30000 including Heavy sarees 1)
Jamadani which is fully damaged colour betted and the franchise owner agreed to it, 2)The maroon pure silk Kanchipuram saree with dark dots grime on the saree, 3)The cream vegan silk saree fully red colour betted, 4)
The cream jute silk saree dark black patches, the vegan silk multi colour Meenakshi work saree is totally shrinkage,5) Pink Georgette crepe pearl delicate worked totally fabric shrinkage and delicate pearl work threads rolling out.
Out of 9 sarees 5 totally damaged .it took more than a fortnight approx. The second batch of sarees where suppose to be delivered on 12th but they dragged it till 15th and in such a damaged condition.
Later she wanted time till Monday 20 June. She gave excuse like She visited to hospital and blah blah. I met the franchise owner in person on Wednesday June 22, as she couldn’t come to my place with the solution stated that due health conditions I visited their outlet.
The proprietor first of all was not aware, as not seen the saree before and after the damage, the staffs who picked up the saree agreed the fault has happened and Ma. Swetha and Mr. Yuvraj explained to me that Samir to picked our clothes is suffering covid positive, lungs affected with water he couldn’t come it’s all stories backing.
No apology to customers, Directly trying to convince customer for reprocessing the fault Which I am ready for it. I agreed to reprocessing the first batch of sarees and couldn’t rectify it how I can I trust and give again.
First timing is the first and last impression. Customer handling, service is pathetic. I need refund of the dry cleaning service as well as reimbursement for my damaged sarees.
I do not want any compensation of voucher or any complimentary for dry cleaning service from tumble and dry since services from tumble dry are pathetic and failed in your process and services.
I need only a reimbursement and refund of charges.
