Mr.Rakesh Sharma is an individual whose no is 0[Protected], approached me for buying furniture thru OLX ,Sent me QR code twice and asked me to scan so that money will be credited to my account through Paytm.
Got Rs.5 credited through paytm , he again sent QR for 13000 and as I was hesitant to scan this and he assured that this is the process for receiving the money as I scanned the code ,money got debited twice.
I protested and told him to remit 26000 back to which he again sent me QR code for 39000, sending something fishy I called my landlord and he immediately told that this was a case of fraud.
Immediately i lodged complaint with ICICI Bank, OLX, Paytm cyber complaint also filed. Yet no action on this person. Olx need to strongly take up this matter and block this number.
