We are senior citizens and planned to visit Andaman as tourist. We are esteemed customer of M/Cleartrip (travel agent) and booked ticket vide PNR ZIPHGH / QD84NW for the following passengers and paid Rs. 51116 (Rupees Fifty one thousand one hundred sixteen only) :
1. Someswar Gupta - Age 66 years
2. Rooma Gupta. - Age 65 years
3. Jontu Nath - Age 62 years
4. Shibani Nath -Age 60 years
Our travel date is 18.01.22 by SG 8263 and return booking is on 25.01.22 by SG 254. Since Andaman administration has cancelled tourism wef 10.01.22 due to present Covid scenarios, all our hotel bookings are cancelled.
Under the circumstances we are unable to visit Andaman and request you to cancel our tickets and issue us full refund. We have further informed M/Cleartrip (travel agent) that we are retired personnel and unable to bear any penalty for cancellation of tickets of flight.
Despite M/S Cleartrip has deducted Rs.31800 (Rupees Thirty one thousand eight hundred only) and processed a refund of Rs.19316 (Rupees Nineteen thousand three hundred and sixteen only).
My grievance against M/S Cleartrip (travel agent) to issue full refund of Rs.51116 (Fifty one thousand one hundred sixteen only) since we could not complete our travel due to Government of India notification for Covid restrictions in Andaman.
