IndiGo Airlines: Wrong Information Provided By Customer Care

I wrote below mail to Indigo Airlines and details are mentioned in that. Very bad and poor customer support. Due to wrong information provided by your customer care executive on 11th October.

I can carry liquor from Patna Airport to Mumbai Airport which I purchased from Duty free shop in Delhi and there will be no problem if its custom sealed pack but do not open that pack and keep the bill inside however, I told him that in Bihar liquor is banned.

And so please cross check and confirm, so that I should not face any problem at Airport. I have a call recording of the whole conversation which I showed to Indigo staff at Patna Airport and, and they also accepted the mistake made by the customer executive and told me to register a complaint.

It was an embarrassing moment for me at that time on 13th October at the airport, where all the public was taking my pics and making videos as if I was the wrong person.

Same day at night I received a call from a customer executive, and he apologized and told me that he would come back to me soon after listening to the audio. Next day on 14th again I received a call from Indigo, and he accepted the mistake from customer care and told me that he provided you wrong information.

And because of that they are giving a voucher of Rs 1500 as a penalty and requested not to file a complaint on a consumer forum or file a case. I told him that the liquor seized at the airport cost Rs 10000, and you are offering a Rs 1500 travel voucher.

What a joke you are making and the humiliation I faced at the airport. I would not leave like this. I told him to come back with better compensation. He told me that he would call me back, but after that, no one called me.

And when I contacted customer care yesterday again and reported all the things, they again apologized and gave surety that someone would call within 2 hours, but no one called me yesterday.

I just want to know that if you people are willing to give my loss along with compensation, otherwise I can proceed with my other way. Note: I have all call recordings and supporting Airport videos and can be shared if required.
