On August 6,2021, I purchased plywood from Chabbra Plywood (Shop No. 1945, Near Saini Gurudwara, Sector 45-B, Burail, Chandigarh). Mr. Nikhil Chhabra summed the kuchha bill for Rs. 11,388/- and as a good will accepted cash of Rs. 11,000/- from me.
After scrutinizing the delivery slip/ kuccha bill, I was shocked to find that for 8/4 6mm Ply, Qty-2 (64 sq.ft) @ Rs. 33/- per sq.ft. He has charged me Rs. 3168/- as instead of Rs.2112/- When contacted Mr. Nikhil Chabbra over the call, he accepted the error & asked me to come and collect the balance.
Upon reaching their shop, I was attended by Mr. R.K. Chabbra, who after discussion with his son, Nikhil Chabbra, offered me Rs. 670/- instead of Rs.1,056/- after deducting the discounted amount of Rs. 388/- I asked them why they are mixing up arithmetical error with the discounted amount.
Lots of heated argument exchanged, Mr. R.K Chabbra was very arrogant and tore off the kuccha bill and threw Rs. 1,000/- at me. He has not only cheated me but also insulted a senior citizen. BEWARE THESE ARROGANT & CHEAT FATHER and SON. PFA image of Kuccha Bill attached.
