Dear Sir/Madam,

This intimation is in regards to the Financial details of my father SAMAR NARAYAN DEBNATH who is having a Pension & Savings a/c+ FD in Canara Bank. Branch - Lohegaon ,nr Air Force Station Pune.

Myself Apurba Samar Debnath son of above respected person wanted to inform that my Father died on dt. 8th May2021. As per the procedure of the bank ruled followed , after i submitted a Death Certificate on dt. 7th June 21 I got the bank details of my father details i.e FD and nominee + saving + balance, but it was quite a surprise by knowing that all FD's and SB acct nominees were my elder Sister's name i.e Ms Purnima Stanapati.

But FYI father told he has no nominee after my mother's death on dt.03Nov 2020 he is going to make a will among three children. I have a doubt some fraud was done after my fathers death, it was changed (upload nominee name ) after death because she ( Purnima Sthanapati) have the all documents of banks includings Mobiles of Father.She may have changed by putting her name via online banking through mobile OTP from father Mobile after 8th May 21.

So I request the bank not disburse any amount to said nominee until the full issue will get solve under satisfaction as may also have to proceed legal notice.

I further inform that i have already filed a Police complaint against my elder sister about that she has taken all official Father doc. Bank PB, FD, ATM card + Mobile without my acknowledge or informing anybody after father death ( as attached).

Also phone numbers which is taken by her (Purnima) ,network operator has been asked to deactivate the number on 7 Jun 21.

So Requesting bank to kindly take a note on the concerns raised and do please let me know in brief that nominees are changed After 8th May 21 or Before 8th May 21.
And If It is After 8th May 21 Please Restore the nominees back to before 8th May 21.
