Canara Bank: Bank has not updated my credit card information to Equifax

I had a credit card with Canara bank issued in the year 2015. I had an outstanding amount on the credit card as I had disputed a transaction, which the bank refused to resolve. However, that is another story. In the end, I myself approached the bank personally in 2018 and got the account settled after paying the whole amount and even obtained the NOC clearly stating that I have got the account settled and have no more outstanding with the bank.

However, even after 3 years, the bank has not updated my information with Equifax Credit Bureau, and it has affected my credit score badly, and has caused me a lot of emotional harm.
