I Phone SE Not Being Repaired Under Warranty

The company claims the phone to be water resistant with a rating of IP67 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes). But even while I was caught i rain for less than 5 minutes with just some splashes, they say the phone is water damaged and not covered under warranty.
